GOD IS NOT DEAD

That would be the time that god was concerned that men would reach heaven if they built a moderately tall building, at which point nothing would be impossible for them. Terrified at the thought of those dirty little humans running around in heaven, god quickly confused their languages to scatter them, then moved heaven into a metaphysical realm and replaced the dome over the Earth with an actual sky. It was god's "man behind the curtain" moment, and it shook his confidence like you wouldn't believe!

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Indeed god may not be dead. Perhaps he is just pining for the fiords.

If we want to read the OT liberally like the NT Evangelists did, we might take the Tower of Babble as just symbolic prophecy for the Christian faith because for whatever reason you all speak a different language.

I've read the plot synopsis. A story about a Christian who loses his faith and finds it again could make a good drama but this movie doesn't sound like a good drama.

Seeing the movie wouldn't convince me that there is a God. It just has characters who believe in or don't believe in God and Christianity. If there was a movie about ancient Egypt where the characters worshipped the Egyptian gods, would it prove that the Egyptian gods were real?

I hope you are doing well today.

Rev, you do understand that your inane, non-response one-liners aren't helping your "message" right? I will say that your pathetic attempts at defending your position and conversion have, admittedly, brightened up the forums recently though.

From what I can gather a pastor finds him after he's been hit by a car and is bleeding to death.

I think the movie would have sounded more promising if Radisson had re-evaluated his belief system after the students voted that he'd lost the debate. After all, he'd have had to re-arrange his life, relationships and philosophy class.

But then he wouldn't be a true "Atheist" if he just reevaluated his belief system. Every Christian knows Atheists are just "mad at God," and that's why they refuse to acknowledge He exists.

It's just like any other belief system. The Mayans knew the Christian God existed, but they were just mad at him, so they prayed and sacrificed to other gods.

The only way I would ever watch it is if it was an MST3K episode.
