I tried to read this book because, hey, self-torture makes you smart, dontcha know? I didn't do a good job of succeeding, and I ended up laughing too hard at the library, had to be told to be quiet, apologized, left, lost my place on the page, and that was all it took for me to stop reading. Losing my place on the page. Man, even Twilight had me reading to the end for the sake of reading the literary equivalent of a trainwreck.
