False. As ignorant as it is to have, one's faith is not in the throes of being expunged from the world as though atheism is a new age Hitler. All that is asked is that voters understand that church and state should be separate. Human rights should not be denied people because the ignorant theists believe they have the Christian right to recreate the world through their twisted views.

So which media coverage are you operating on now? Back when all priests were pedophiles or when they decided to focus on supposed institutional cover ups?

That's not even how the Catholic Church works. Individuals bishops are responsible for their priests. Individual bishops ordain and manage their priests. Whether or not individual bishops actually screwed up and put priests they believed were going to victimize children remains to be known if it will ever be known.

That's not logical. Schools are not full of pedophiles, but if they media reported every accusations since the 40s, people would come to believe it.

How is that?

Religious faith: I have faith that god will ensure the sun rises tomorrow.
There is no evidence that any god has any hand in whether or not the sun will rise.

Secular hope: I have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow.
There is proof that the sun rises around the same time every day. We have validation from it being a repeatable action. No god is required for understanding that the sun will rise around the same time every day.
