Aractus, I have to say congratulations on figuring out what you really want to do with your life.
I am the same age as you and I still have not come to that decision yet. Although in my case I have a lot of HECS debt from doing my Commerce degree some years back. Therefore I am reluctant to take on extra HECS debt in doing a Graduate Diploma and/or Masters degree.

I know that sort feeling you are describing, because in my current job at a Hungry Jacks store. Nearly everybody working on the same shifts (which all evening) are between 15 and 18 and I am 31.
My current role by the way involves the stuff needed to order to close the store down each evening. My role involves a lot cleaning, filtering fryer vats, changing over broiler bits, etc.

A good friend of mine started college at the age of 40. It took her 9 years going part time but she did it. 31 is not too old.

Well, if the end times happens before that then it happens. But, the end times may take place in 40 years time or later also.

I personally don't understand christian end timers, the book of revelation refers to the temple of jeruasulem in present tense, despite being written after the fall of the temple.
