I'm gonna try this again! Hey do you guys know anybody who needs a roomie ?
What I can Afford
300-500 (plus utilities)
I'm willing to share a bathroom
I'm considering adopting a cat (I haven't done it yet)
I spend most of my time in my room or at the library
I'm looking for a place near public transport
Hopefully with in unit laundry
You are welcome to anything I may cook
I'm allergic to African Violets
No large dogs (nothing bigger than a border collie)
No birds (they scare me)
No Gun Owners
Outside Smokers Only
NO CHILDREN
I'd rather not live with a couple but that's fine

Came in expecting a Billy Joel reference. Leaving disappointed
Good luck, yo.

I'm not purposefully trying to be snarky here BQ, but isn't there some key information missing in your advertisement?
Your location?
Kind of a big deal when you're making this sort of inquiry on an international website.

Her profile says she lives in Tennessee. She's actually a state away from me in Alabama. Personally I wouldn't mind a roomie that could pay up front, and had some reputable people to vouch for them. That would be $150 a month for rent, power, and water, plus you'd be responsible for your own food. I try to keep the house reasonably clean. Not sparkling, but not a pig sty either.
My little town doesn't have public transport, and I commonly hear birds outside my window early in the morning. Though by no birds, you may have meant just no pet birds in the house. We also have children running around outside at times, but I have none in my house.

I'm looking all over the US (well almost all over) I don't want to stay in the south! I'm willing to move to just about about any state to escape this dinky little town!

Then you probably don't want to move to another dinky little town like mine. I personally never lived in anything but small towns, so I don't really know what it's like on the other side of the fence. My opinion of a bigger town is one with a mall or Super Walmart. Auburn Alabama would be a good example.

I'm originally from Cleveland OH, I sound like it and act it. These bumpkins hate me! Apparently refusing to drink anything but spring water makes me a snob. And black people think I'm "bougie" whatever that means.

Upper class. Snobby, I guess. If you live down here, and you're an adult, they kind of expect you to drink some kind of alcoholic beverage. Live a little, as it were. You're just a yankee, poor thing.

That's nice.
I'm willing to share a bathroom
I'm not.
I'm considering adopting a cat (I haven't done it yet)
I'm on the fence on this. I'd love a heterochromatic khao manei ("Sagan") and an exotic shorthair ("Clara"), but my HOA only allows one, and I don't like poop.
I spend most of my time in my room or at the library
You don't sound clingy. I like that.
I'm looking for a place near public transport
About 200 feet (an MTS line between downtown and SDSU Student Union)
Hopefully with in unit laundry
Wouldn't that be cool?
You are welcome to anything I may cook
I like to cook, too, though. Plus, I'm a cootie freak.
I'm allergic to African Violets
I have eucalyptus and iceplant, IIRC. That's how I roll.
No large dogs (nothing bigger than a border collie)
I feel violent towards dogs and some dog owners. Except greyhounds. Again, see HOA comment above.
No birds (they scare me)
They just annoy me
No Gun Owners
I'm very much pro gun for the able bodied, but I don't feel safe owning one.
Outside Smokers Only
I'll smoke you if I see even an e-cig. In fact, if you're one of those e-cig types...well...*smh*
NO CHILDREN
Duh.
I'd rather not live with a couple but that's fine
I'd rather not interact with people in general, couple or otherwise but that's fine
WELCOME TO SUNNY SAN DIEGOOO! Don't ask me where the best fish tacos are.
Hang ten, bruh.
