Indeed. Such shifting of the burden of proof only highlights the probability - nay, certainty - that the forthcoming argument proposing deific design is vacuous at best. Or to put it another way: this guy ain't got shit.

I don't think either of us know whether there was ever a pure nothing before there was anything else. It seems we both believe in preexisting conditions sufficient to bring about the universe. You call it god while I admit I don't know what those preexisting conditions were exactly .. just that they were sufficient to account for everything we know. Since you largely leave god undefined we're really in the same boat except for the labels.
