Theomatics is actually a reapplied method of the same claims made about "Torah Codes" that were common in the 80's and 90's. This was historically rebuked by a mathematician showing similar results could be achieved by running Hermen Melville's "Moby Dick" through a similar process.

The logical counterpoint was already provided by several people explaining why post hoc data mining (and it is post hoc) can be used to find all sorts of juicy tidbits. Doesn't mean fucking squat however.

THe counter argument is that the only thing numerology proves is that someone decided to waste their time inventing numerology.
You can use numbers and maths to prove almost anything if you twist them enough.
Just look at the Ancient Aliens nuts trying to use the size of the pyramids, the number of steps it takes to walk down certain corridors, etc, that the pyramids were build by aliens from Sirius.

The Athenians famously consulted the Oracle of Delphi and were told that they would be safe behind a "wooden wall." Some interpreted that to mean an actual wooden wall which was quickly breached by the Persians and they were slaughtered. Themistocles interpreted it to mean they should rely on their navy. He won the Battle of Salamis and the Persian threat was ended.

BTW, while you are whining about people laughing at your numerology I can't help but notice that you failed to asnwer my question about what happens when even a single prophecy in your bible fails.
