Guy approaches me on the street, offers a job!?

Ok, I'm not very street smart so I need your opinion on this. A well dressed 25 y.o. man approached me on the street while I was walking my dog and said he has a job. He asked for my cell phone, what I was doing on Saturday and said he had a job in business.
I lied that I had no cell-phone nor land line and said I live nearby when asked where I live. I gave him my e-mail and told him that if he has anything to offer me, that he sends it to my address and that I would carefully consider it. This is what he sent me:
Nice t0 m33t you man, how's your schedule t0m0rrow @ 640 ?
I hexed some characters so he can't google his own message to find this post.
What do you guys think? What can a guy like that want?

Not a problem if he wants to hire you to walk his dog; otherwise, it sounds shady.

People aren't vague about jobs unless the job(s) is(are) shady.
Take a different route tomorrow morning, and say that something came up. (or troll him, and say you're open... but then don't show up >__> )

I vote scam. Yes, a "job" wherein, somehow you are required to front money with the expectation of a larger payout real soon now, for example.

I had the same thing happen to me about 3 fucking times. Very evasive about what the job actually entails, just tells you it's a great opportunity, you could earn loads of money, work for yourself etc. All complete bollocks. It was more like they were trying to sell me the job.
I mean, seriously, what fucking company, or anyone for that matter comes after me for a job. I've spent the last 3 years looking for one, and I'm supposed to believe you want to hire me! Without even knowing anything about me? Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.
