That woman is an idiot. But what'd you expect from a woman that says reason is from Satan?

So-called reasoning also lead to the Holocaust...I assume that's the type of reasoning that is feared.

No, I think what she's saying is pretty obvious. Just do whatever other people tell you God is saying for you to do, without thinking for yourself.

Why is this woman allowed to preach?
According to her little book of myths she's not allowed to do so.

You understand that for reasoning to be reason able, for it to be functional at all, it needs to conform to reality, right? I don't think anyone would argue that the motivations for the Holocaust did that.
And we all understand that fallacious reasoning is bad.

Well, they actually conformed to what was being seen as science at the time.....frankly, you had Dawkins touch upon an aspect of that and was thoroughly attacked by all sides. Not the best move on his part.

Not really. The Holocaust was largely ideological in nature, with the scientific basis derived from a meaningless distinction between Aryans and Jews, which doesn't exist in biology. You can't fabricate a biological distinction and then expect any reasoning you pull out of that to be accurate.

Any tips for discerning reasonable reasoning amid all the reasoning that comes from Satan?
Those who reasoned that the holocaust made sense should have done what exactly to make the right call .. pray on it? Wouldn't you think that better reasoning could play a roll? Or do you advocate abandonning reason altogether? Not really sure how that could work.
