Just sifted through a few pages but I can't tell if there is any poster to this site that truly believes the lunar landing was faked. Can anyone refer me to a post to show me I'm wrong? Even the professor's comment seemed like it could have been intended humorously.

Moon Landing: Fake or Real?
|
The moon is made of cheese, this is an undisputed fact, nobody has bought any cheese samples back from the moon. Therefore the moon landings are fake.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment) RE: Moon Landing: Fake or Real?

The moon conspiracy theory predates the Capricorn One. So it certainly isn't inspired by it.
In general, I think only wisdom needs inspiration, foolishness doesn't. |
