Moon Landing: Fake or Real?
RE: Moon Landing: Fake or Real?
Just sifted through a few pages but I can't tell if there is any poster to this site that truly believes the lunar landing was faked. Can anyone refer me to a post to show me I'm wrong? Even the professor's comment seemed like it could have been intended humorously.

The moon is made of cheese, this is an undisputed fact, nobody has bought any cheese samples back from the moon. Therefore the moon landings are fake.

Hilarious parody of Scientology in there too.

Loved that movie.

There's a movie from 1977 called Capricorn One, in which NASA runs low on money so they decide to fake a Mars landing.

I can't help but think all this conspiracy Moon-landing stuff springs from this movie.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

The moon conspiracy theory predates the Capricorn One. So it certainly isn't inspired by it.

In general, I think only wisdom needs inspiration, foolishness doesn't.
