Green Coke

RE: Green Coke
For what it's worth, my girlfriend swears by Mexican Coke and will go to what I think are silly lengths to procure it. I really can't tell the difference, but I don't have the keenest sense of smell/taste.

Unless this new stuff actually is green, as promised, I probably won't bother.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Maybe that's how it is in places where they have pubs. Around here, McD's Coke is usually awesome.

Haven't heard of the Green Coke.

I agree 100% with Alpha regarding McDonald's Coke. McD keeps their water cooled to just above freezing, which helps with CO2 absorbtion. They also use a higher mix conentration ratio to account for melting ice. Calibration schedules are also rigorously adhered to.

Damn...
You guys have this down to a science!!

Personally, all colas taste roughly the same. The ones with more sugar seem to taste a bit better... I wonder why?
But I'm on a low sugar intake lifelong diet. I only drink sodas when at parties... which I'll be attending today... hmmm...

Anyway, drink tap water, it's still the best drink out there: 0 sugar, 0 flavorings, 0 preservatives (if you don't count chlorine), has a bit of added fluoride to help keep your teeth white and it actually relieves thirst and can only have side effects if your intake is above your stomach's capacity, which you'll usually try to avoid. On top of that, it's the cheapest drink you can have... It's completely free in some places!

Plus, do you know what sugar does in your body? yuck!

Coca-Cola is a rare treat for me. I mostly drink water, but I don't trust straight tap water. At work we have filtered water. At home we have a water cooler and get jugs of distilled water.

A local restaurant makes REAL cherry coke, they use cherry fountain syrup. It is heavenly. The canned stuff is just sad and pathetic.

Elixir of the gods!

RE: Green Coke
I haven't put nearly that much thought into, but the diet Coke at some restaurant tastes better than bottled. McDonald's is consistently one of those places.

Aluminum cans flavor things. Beer in glass is better than beer in cans.
