Serving man in a world you love.

Serving man in a world you love.
Not really a christian thing to do.

The bible says this about loving the world:

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever. "

and has this to tell about serving Christ:

17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

Oh, this is fun! Since you believe god created man, not serving man would be equivalent to not serving god.

Therefore, you must serve me a beer.

Have you stopped eating and drinking? Don't want to risk having the wrong interpretation of scripture and missing out due to a technicality!
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You want to fix your quote or shall I? Hint: you have an extra [ /quote] in the middle.

1 Corinthians 8;8

But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.

Yea, serve God for a change and fix that quote.

If I'm not mistaken, that's why the Catholic church enforces celibacy of their priests.
But it would be folly to enforce that on the whole population, don't you think?
