And its a sincere "Thank you". The Bible's a good book. Believers never bother to read it. And reading it always reminded me of how my old copy helped me on my way to becoming an atheist, after realizing it was a steaming pile of convoluted bullocks, written by backward desert nomads and barbaric war tribes.

Thanks for the warning. Lately, I've actually been thinking of reading it. Someone told me that a snake actually talked a woman into eating a piece of fruit! I do enjoy comedy though.

I actually have given copies of the Vulgate to some people I like who are religious. As sincere gifts, not in mockery. No one in my family tries anymore because the only ones in the family who have read it are my mother and myself. She's still a catholic but we both like to joke about how much ink is given to the construction of the magic cookie jar.
