Seriously though, it does make me laugh how the next world cup is going to be in a country that is oppressing thousands of homosexuals. Nice one FIFA, just keep sucking in the money right? Next you'll be telling me the world cup after that is going to be at a place where they want to have air conditioned stadiums because it's so damn hot there...

FIFA is retarded they are trying to sue north korea for using copyrighted videos of there own team on their news network because i guess a team don't have the right to there own image if its a FIFA game.

I don't know if the rugby players are real men or not, but obviously, they're not very smart.

Isn't that true of most jocks who play sports like that?

Smart? Perhaps not, but they are fun people to be around.

Yeah. I always thought that boxers weren't very smart. They're probably fun to be around until they get their brains beat out. Then they may or may not be much fun.

The only reason FIFA is hosting a world cup in both Russia and Qatar is because of politics and corruption.

This is a common misconception, a lot of boxers are actually very intelligent compared to other sports personalities. There's a plethora of boxers out there that are miles more intelligent than any football or rugby player. Name me a player smarter than Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather or Chris Eubank. Vitali Klitschko holds a damn PhD and is a massive figure in Ukrainian politics. Indeed many of the greatest boxers are also very smart people, that's because boxing is a more intellectual sport than many people give it credit for.

Russian isn't so bad compared to countries were you can get jail time or the death penalty for being gay. In Russian it's not a crime to be gay, it's a crime to propagate homosexual lifestyle to minors of 18 years old. It is still discriminatory, but there's no comparison between that and for instance Uganda. If homosexuals are persecuted inside Russia that's another problem, even with liberal laws people can get persecuted if the whole society doesn't like them.
