Where, in the bible, is this supported or refuted? I sincerely appreciate all responses from theists and atheists alike. Thanks
Animals (well the non-human ones_ don't go to Heaven because they don't have souls. No where in the Bible does it state they were made in the image of God.
This kind of thing always bothered me. So you're saying there are no animals, or by extension plants, in heaven? as someone who has always lived in somewhat rural areas, surrounded by plants and animals, I find this totally undesirable. Not even talking about how bad it is to not see my pets, or my friend's pets. Just the idea that nothing will be there but Humans? No thanks.

What an ingrate! Gold streets, angels, and "spontaneous" demonstrations of love for Dear Leader aren't enough to satisfy you for eternity? Your desire for fellowship with other living forms is just evidence of your craven, fallen nature. Now get in line, shut the fuck up, and don't look behind the curtain.

Animals do NOT have souls. They do NOT go to Heaven.
If your pet has died or will be dying soon, then I'm Sorry.

If I wanted to live in a city, surrounded by buildings, I'd move to a city. Hell, even cities will incorporate trees and grass, and there are birds and such.

They're too expensive. Iron chariots will do the job for a fraction of the price.

I have read the Bible several times and I haven't seen anything on this subject. There will be no sin in Heaven but animals are incapable of sin so there is no reason to exclude them.
As one of the previous posts pointed out there will be horses in Heaven so there could be other animals as well but we don't know whether or not these are animals that have lived previous lives on earth.
We do know that Heaven will be a place of complete happiness; if some people wouldn't be happy separated from the animals they owned on earth it is possible that those animals will be taken to Heaven but there is no way we can know for certain.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
