I've just been to the Chinese takeaway too.

Edit. I really should read threads before posting because somebody already beat me to it.

I've been quite ill for almost a week now. Haven't eaten much except a bunch of grapes and some root beer. And handfuls of aspirin for a headache that will not stop.

Food poisoning or a weird stomach bug. Sickest I have been since the bad E coli back in the 90s.

Wishing I had the stuff to make spring rolls. In the meantime I might make cous cous or rice and chicken... haven't decided. or maybe I'll just eat an apple to take the edge off my peckishness and have a root beer float later.

All very good ideas.

As for me, I have no farking clue. I had bagels and leftover tater tots for brekky. Now I am out of food but for a few tater tots and a Nature Valley bar.

So I think it's maybe out for banh mi for lunch.

Macaroni and Cheese.

I must admit that my red sauce is store bought. I usually use Classico or Paul Newman brand. Everything else you sauté with the meat (garlic and mushrooms last, so they don't wilt as much), then add the red sauce and simmer (the longer the better). Serve with fresh grated Parmesan and a parsley garnish.

Sliced Chicken Breast with peppers and onions and garlic and mushrooms with a balsamic glaze. And corn.
