I want to answer a bit of your questions (if possible)- My position for speaking for God: I know what He said and I know His dealings w/ me over 42 years. God has given us charge to speak the truth and present the Gospel. (not with a sledgehammer-by the way) To cast down lofty arguments (pseudo-science and false religion) To strengthen the feeble hands. To encourage the faint hearted. You can do whatererist you want. We are saying there are big pitfalls on this journey- a spiritual minefield. If you play in the devil's playpen- he has a right to play with you. He doesn't play fair or nice. His purpose is to kill,to steal and to destroy. He has a myriad of philosophies and tricks. Look around - it has been working. Finally, most of what is blamed on God is actually the result of the working out of the above paragraph. We are not yet in the final episode of this age when God WILL be striking this satanic world system in judgment. And His purpose then will be twofold- to expedite people's final decision- for or against Him, and to bring to ruin the false religions of the world/ the coming antichrist (O), his false prophet (Francis).
