When I was growing up in the mid-80's or so, I didn't like the pop or rock or any other top 40 of the day. I liked smooth jazz and new age fusion whatever. Like Kenny G. And Enya. And Ray Lynch.

And I still, every few months or so, get into one of those nostalgic moods for that kind of shizzle.

I must admit, Jason Mraz is one of my favorite artists of all time. His oldest stuff, from Java Joe's in San Diego circa 2001-2, just him and Toca Rivera on Bongos, is fantastic.

I like Robbie Williams' Angels and Bodies, both songs are nice.
My confession - I think the song 'call me maybe' is really catchy

Must admit, my biggest musical guilty pleasure is the 80's hair bands.
Seriously considering getting tickets for the upcoming Bret Micheals (ex-Poison front man) show.

I suppose the only thing guilty about this pleasure is how long I've put it on repeat (sometimes three or four hours at a time) ever since I bought it.

W'ist, don't ever feel guilty about Allison Krause!
Honestly, I don't think I listen to any music I feel is a guilty pleasure... I'm almost completely intolerant of crap music. I just realized I'm about to embark on a road trip with my sister who, while she has great taste in music for the most part, also has some crap taste. Oh gawds.

I can't do music on a road trip. Gotta be a podcast. I have been fascinated with a podcast called 99% Invisible. It is about design. So good!
