If you believe this you had better pray - I mean hope that you are right.
Why?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It just tells us what "the Bible teaches" and then explains what is (and isn't) known about human aging and life spans, then apparently decides that meh... god did it.
They claim that "(a)ccording to the Bible, God created the first humans—Adam and Eve—without sin and with the ability to live forever." But that's not accurate: Genesis does not say that Adam and Eve were immortal. Genesis 3:22 tells us that god evicted them from the Garden of Eden so that they would not be able to "take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever." It was the fruit of a tree that extended their lifespan, not an inherent genetic trait.
Given this, one wonders why god would need to further degrade the human genome in order to shorten our lifespan. He comes across as something of a prick, to be honest.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

And followers of the FSM have eternal life AND access to a wine volcano AND a stripper factory.
A stripper factory! And not one of those tame titties-only places. We're talking full-on nekkidity, lap dances, back room massages...the WORKS! Dad/Jesus/Ghost and boring old Jewish/Hellenistic bullshit heaven has got nuttin' on pastafarian heaven my friend. Nothing!
How this all works in practice, us followers have no idea, but it matters not, for it is part of OUR BELIEFS! Hence, true. I trust you will not disrespect my believes (sic) by questioning one whit of said believes (sic).
Granted there are some traditions who believe it is a *beer* volcano, rather than a wine volcano. They are old-order pastafarians, whereas, the new, reformed pastafarians believe the volcano will produce wine and a variety thereof. The king of course being the aged, oaky cab sav. But, a sweet or off-dry Riesling goes well with spicy food now and then.

Err, if you want to be factually accurate then yes it is. It's also important if you want to convince people who are skeptical of fantastic claims and who know basic human physiology and anatomy.
If Moses et al had been turtles, then we might have reached more of a consensus.

There are 7 people that live over 900 in the bible and one that lives to be 895. Not bad, considering the life expectancy was 35. Seems legit.
