But we clearly are the earth's source of radically expanding creativity. This goes beyond communicating expression. It's all about our creative problem solving. This without getting into wild metaphors.
If I wanted to drop some metaphoric knowledge I'd tell you we are atomic powered, mind reading, time traveling, flying cyborgs in a global orgy of genius, capable of both divine creation and dark cataclysm.
But ultimately that is a pretty weak metaphor compared to money, the metaphor of labor and resources. Sometimes the truth is nothing but a subtle impression.

There isn't much on earth that -doesn't- "creatively problem solve". There would be alot less life on earth if we were the only source for that.

This is true. But we are excessive about it. A beaver can build a pretty impressive dam. But they never built the Hoover Dam.
Giraffes have an excessively long neck. Cheetahs run excessively fast. We are excessively creative. Now we can move faster than a cheetah and reach higher than a giraffe. We are only bound by our creativity.

Those beavers, btw, don't need any Hoover, so I think we'd have to withhold judgement until such time as they do.

We used to have horses for that and we got by fine.
Our creativity does hit a brick wall, then we study the brick wall. We'll study it for thousands of years if necessary. Until we make that wall obsolete. We have the super power to work as a team with those who are no longer with us and those who aren't with us yet to solve ALL of our problems.
Now you don't have to worry about Zeus striking you down. That's Obama's job. Don't worry about hexes, you should worry about contracts that will haunt you the rest of your life. Who needs rain dances when you can twist a handle to make your bathroom rain.
Our creative ability to record, collect and build knowledge is a true deus-ex machina.
