The "gay recruitment" myth

Ask yourself: are you born to be a shithead? Is that a choice you consciously make? Were you groomed to be a shithead? Several? All? None?

Who cares?

You're still a shithead. And you're a shithead in this particular instance because a very popular religion goes out of its way to tell you that you should be.

I wonder how many times anything even remotely close to this has ever happened as the result of a son announcing, to his two moms or dads, that he has accepted Jesus as his Lord and savior?

Unfortunately, one "ex-gay" bitch who was shown nothing but love by her two lesbian mothers and four other mentors (who were also lesbians) in her life was brainwashed by her Christian father into condemning them and founding "Will Not Ministries" which tries to pull off the "we hate your homosexuality and think you're broken but we love you" act without success. That's the closest I can find, although again in this instance it's the Christians showing hate, not the gay people.

Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

I suppose that puts paid to the 'theory' that gay parents will raise gay kids. Some of them grow up to be good, all-American Christian assholes.

His parents are horrible! I cannot believe they would do this to their own child. That stepmother should be charged with assault.

RE: The "gay recruitment" myth
Choosing to be gay is an absurd argument. As much as I support gay equality and despise those who would discriminate against them, I've never once decided that I should try to go gay and magically start liking men just to help the gay agenda. I don't understand how people can be so utterly stupid. Is that a choice or just how they are born?

They are far more concerned with what other people think of them than they are for their son. If bigots are who you choose over your child then he should ditch the simple minded fools and never look back.
