You can't be gay in the US
RE: You can't be gay in the US
Man, we took the scenic route on that one.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Being a Christian, does this disgust you as well? and if not, how do you reconcile your hypocrisy?
Leviticus 20:13 If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.

If I go to a gay bar, how am I to actually know what goes on behind closed doors with the people who frequent such an establishment?

The Bible says to leave the people living in sin to their own devices if they do not belong to the Church.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

No, the bible instructs you to go to that gay bar, open the closed doors, see the act, and put them to death.

But but but but, Jesus said that Christians don't have to follow the rules! Which means conveniently getting around having to put people to death when that's illegal.
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

Where did Jesus state that Christians did not have to follow the rules?

I have never found evidence of someone I personally know committing an act that the Bible states is a stone-able offense. Want me to stone people for no reason to suit your barbarism?

ROFLOL

But what if you did, Polaris?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Why is the user named Drama Queen one of the few people NOT involved in the drama in this thread?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You mean what if I was gay and had to put up with your BS comments about homosexuality? I'd bitch slap you in drag and then probably have nothing happen to me if I lived where I do because I live in a secular state. The Bible even says to live under the rules of the state (well maybe that was about taxes more so).
