I'm glad he'll be back. I think he means well in general and adds a needed perspective on things. He's just a little out-numbered and seems to grasp at straws when his back's against the wall, which as humans we're all capable of doing.

If there's any take away from this thread its 1) Homophobia is bad and 2) humble pie is gross but it's good for you.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:
