Once people get to know you they will have more of an idea where your coming from and vice versa. Don't be discouraged, it's a good question that I have thought about often.

If there are multiple universes (separate from each other, not parallel universes that are caused by divergent timelines) then would they still be universes?

I see no reason for there not to be more than one universe.
