A bad new from the Italy...
January 22, 2010 - It was celebrated, from the Superior Council of Magistracy, the disciplinary proceedings had been opened, about 5 years ago, against the judge Luigi Tosti, who had refused to hold hearings under the burden of the crucifixes, respecting the principle of State Laïcité.
A process for which Tosti has undergone two criminal convictions, including one year in prison (later annulled by the Supreme Court). He is suspended from the salary from 4 years.
The Superior Council of Magistracy has decided to remove from office the judge Tosti, do not yet know the reasons for the decision.
Luigi Tosti has declared that it will appeal against the ruling to the European Court of Human Rights.
