RE: What are you thinking about?

Just found out my ex is dating.
It's been three years since we split so of course I knew it could happen eventually.
It's just that I had this pipe dream of us getting back together, enabling me to see my daughter every day.
I've been the perfect ex, a yes man, scoring brownie points whenever I could, doing whatever I'm told.
Lately, I had been thinking about how to put the pieces together in my long term plan for re establishing our relationship.
It had to be long term because I destroyed it so badly back then. (Mental illness.)
Looks like someone beat me to the punch.
I don't have any other plans, I invested everything into this one.
Things could be worse I guess.
Maybe if she's so interested in another man I might get to see my little girl more often.
I don't know.

Thanks Losty.
Initial shock is over. All is not lost.
There's probably a silver lining somewhere.
I'll just sit back and wait.
Some guys don't get to see their kids at all so I'm still on top. :-)

I'm feeling better than I have in a couple of months... not better as in "happier," but calmer and more stable.
Chemistry homework all afternoon, chemistry class tonight.
All my math friends have been asking me how I did on yesterday's test. Well, I think I got 100% but I usually make a careless error or two that bumps it down, I'm expecting low 90s. I am not comfortable saying that to a classmate, though. I told them "I came up with a way to solve every problem, so that's good..."

I'm thinking about how pissed off sociology makes me. I guess you could call me an ethnocentric. Hearing people talk about their religious customs especially makes my blood boil. I thought I would enjoy the class but instead every time I'm there I'm just palming my face the entire time. It's so uncomfortable. I really don't like a lot of the cultures we learn about, like this one culture who believes they have a spiritual connection with whales and when whale hunters are out hunting, their wives remain perfectly still because they believe it agitates the whale and makes it harder to catch. I said that the belief of Africans that aids is curse was really stupid and a girl whispered in the back of class "that guy is so stupid". Then the next day I went to class we were talking about mores, folkways, and laws (different types of norms). I asked if wearing an atheist t shirt that I ordered would be considered a more and the same girl in the back of class yelled out "oh my god!". I am still pissed off about it to this day. I loath that sociology class so much. I hate the teacher too because she seems like the kind of rigid bitch that doesn't do anything about it when she hears it and would probably punish me if I ever talked back to one of the bitches that said the rude shit to me. I fucking hate that class so much.

I'm enjoying the last few days off. We moved to her parent's house on Thursday. I sent the full draft to Chris on Wednesday night. He finally wrote me back yesterday, noted a few edits but he seems happy with everything so far. Gonna submit this week sometime then I'm done with my masters. It feels weird.
"Yes, I am a Free Lover. I have an inalienable, constitutional and natural right to love whom I may, to love as long or as short a period as I can; to change that love every day if I please, and with that right neither you nor any law you can frame have any right to interfere. And I have the further right to demand a free and unrestricted exercise of that right, and it is your duty not only to accord it, but as a community, to see I am protected in it. I trust that I am fully understood, for I mean just that, and nothing else."

I wish I could be antisocial and stay in bed all day. It's not acceptable in a house full of extroverts.
It doesn't help that her mom is on annual leave for the next two weeks.
I just want to waste away the next few weeks on the Internet and catch up on sleep from a year of not sleeping properly.
But I can't. And it frustrates me.
