Creation (Film, 2009)

Creation (Film, 2009)
Just finished posting my review for the movie.

In short, I absolutely LOVED it. I was a little wary at first but then I ended up bawling like a baby towards the end. I don't think I've cried so hard for a movie in a really long time.

Has anyone else seen it, and what are your thoughts on it?

Does not delve into the science of evolution. Doesn't debunk religion. Makes a girl cry.

Nope. No interest in seeing it.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

I wonder if any creationists went to see this based on the title alone?

I think you're missing the point if you think that's what the movie needs to be about.

First, you misconstrued my statement to think that there isn't any element of science and religious debates. It's there, it's just not the point. The story is not about science versus religion, it's about the man based on a book written by his great-great-grandson. I think you're doing a disservice to yourself by not seeing it, but hey, to each their own.
