"Standing Sentinels" against equal rights

So these fuckers stand around the streets of the major cities in Italy defending "the rights of the traditional family" (they don't even know what they're talking about).
On Sunday evening, while I was on my way to the pub, one of these dimwits handed me a leaflet, but unfortunately I didn't realize it soon enough to start a ruckus in the middle of the square. I was in Bari, the second most important city in the South, on the Adriatic coast. Meanwhile, on the Thyrrenian coast, in Naples:
(video in Italian)
Because giving rights to gay people = eterophobia!
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.
Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.
Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.
Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.
Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

Eh, they're not treated that equally, but we don't burn them at the stake either. An anti-homophobia law is under scrutiny these days, and the most extremist Catholics are (of course) demonstrating their love of fascism by opposing it. More moderate Catholics are cool though. It really depends on the area. The North-West and the major cities tend to be more progressive, while small towns especially in the South are way more closed-minded.
The whole of Veneto is Texas, except for the weather.

What did you expect from a country which gives something like 6.500.000.000 euros every year to the Catholic Church in public funding and tax exemptions?
At least we get to put up some fights. At the end of the video, a girl from the opposing manifestation tells the Sentinels' leader (who's carrying a metal rod, maybe a support for a table or something) "Shove that stick up your arse, you'll have great fun!"

I heard that you have to go hard while looking at teenage boys at least 80% of the times. So yeah, if you become a cardinal, "it"'s gonna be hard.
