Small CV help
October 8, 2014 at 6:52 pm
Hello fellow pagans, I need a bit of help with my CV. Could you help me find another way to say this sentence "This position was a work experience placement where my main role was to process reports sent in by engineers onto the company’s system.". I want to mainly change the beginning, as I already have another part of my employment history beginning with "This was a...".
Any help is welcome (:

Sure, mostly you need to get rid of the passive tense and thus a whole bunch of extra words: In this position, I processed reports sent into the company by engineers. Get rid of the "this was a" in the last part too and convert it to the active tense as well.

Try: "This position enabled me to ..."
That wil better explain your abilities rather than the other roles you didn't participate in.
