Then you don’t know Hammy.
What do you think we should know that he has failed to demonstrate here?

One thing that Hammy said a while back was, 'meet one person with Autism and you've met one person with Autism'.
This is true and it's the high functioning people who'll trick you into forgetting they have a disorder until they suddenly make you remember that they do.
Acknowledging certain behaviours is not the same as excusing them.
One of the biggest behaviour indicators for me with Hammy is that he doesn't get jokes or sarcasm very well.
It's unfortunate, but this forum is not a mental health facility, no matter how understanding a lot of the people here are.
I agree with you. It's why I always tried to be more patient with him than with most other people.
But something drastically changed with Hammy when he got his diagnosis. It's like it gave him license to intentionally ignore the social cues that he does recognize. Bring it up and you get a three page DM diatribe saying how you're an asshole and fuck you and good riddance and everyone who agrees with me is wrong and fuck them too.
Maybe he needs to hit rock bottom before he's going to be able to self evaluate. It was the same with me I became super lazy when they told me it was a negative symptom that was not my fault.
I don't believe mental health approach by secular society on so many levels.
It's only when I reawakened spiritual fighting and abilities, was I able to combat the illness.
If I kept to what secular society telling me it's not my fault etc, I would be no where right now.
Hammy - consider seeking God's Name as the cure. Don't let people confuse you, you are smart enough to prove God to yourself and even to others.

That he is autistic, which was the point of my comment to Kit. I think he demonstrates that fact pretty well.

He did state that, but he didn't quite demonstrate it.

Forget labels. I don't give a damn about them.
I saw what the label schizophrenia and bipolar did to me. Schizoaffective disorder never did justice to what I was capable of and responsible for.
It doesn't matter. Labels don't matter. We all have weakness and none of us are perfect.
Hammy FORGET The damn LABEL. You are a servant of God and created for his mercy, and God can teach you to program your mind in the way that will bring you to high stations.
Forget the label, it means nothing.
My A+ in my computer science degree prove that.
It means nothing. Believe me, don't let a label tell you who you and who you can or cannot be.

Yes, I understand that. In fact he went on at length and in great detail to make sure that we knew that and he repeats it every chance he gets. But there is more to it. Do you also understand that he's a self pity narcissist and master manipulator?
Start with the paragraph that begins: "Another way that the narcissist’s ego gets special attention is through the role of being a victim."

Also, his obsessive/compulsive type personality. Definitely a trait that is common in autism. When someone provokes him, it's harder for him to remain composed or just let it go than it is for the average neuro typical person.
Funny. I actually have OCD and I have no problem letting things go with people here. I’ve butted heads with tons of you and I still separate that from new conversations. OCD isn’t dwelling on issues with people and losing your composure. Let’s not pretend being childish is a symptom. It’s something he can 100% choose to work on and had nothing to with OCD, which he was never diagnosed with by his own admission.

Hammy seemed more akin to a hypochondriac to me.

I do, also you shouldn’t use his real name. I’m pissed at him, but I I think we should remove that if he didn’t give permission.

Ah, but this has been a hallmark of his for as long as I've known him.
My contention is that it got drastically worse after he got his diagnosis. Which means he was under control before, but something changed.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
