You should really consider post monitoring for the first five or so. Might make it less interesting for spammers to target the site. This last guy means business in any case.

Might I respectfully suggest that you try a test for a week or two and then evaluate it among yourselves. Just the threat of Mod Preview might be enough to chase away some of the worst offenders.
