There is quite a story to that. you see, I was walking down the sidewalk when I was attacked by Christian cultists. While fighting them off, one of them managed to carve a pentagram into my arm. With a sharpie. But I digress.

With a flash of fire and a meeting with Beelzebub himself, I was imbued with the powers of sickness - meaning I spent most of my time in bed now being grumpy. My face has changed to reflect that. On the upside, I can now scare small children and turn the people who disagree with me into masses of putrid flesh. None of that was true.

I meant insufficient detail because it is a rather sketchy avatar.
