yes because the universe requires heat and energy to expand but its expanding to fast and the problem is right now for everyone if humanity is around long enough. is the eventuality of heat death when the universe reaches 0*c. because think about it the universe is a closed in system entropy takes its course. what this means for the universe. Any reaction that takes place will either result in the products becoming less ordered, or heat being given off. This means at some time far in the future, when all the possible reactions have taken place, all that will be left is heat (i.e electromagnetic radiation) and fundamental particles. No reactions will be possible, because the universe will have reached its maximum entropy. The only reactions that can take place will result in a decrease of entropy, which is not possible, so in effect the universe will have died. since people are well and animals are in this closed in system this would effectively end our existence.

E=mc^2 is not false but its a good understanding. our universe as a finite amount of energy, it is using said energy to expand think of it like this matter degrades its not around forever it is turned back into the energy. matter and energy are the same one is physical one is not.

One of the experiments at CERN has observed D-mesons ‘flipping’ between matter and antimatter.

Antimatter is identical to normal matter but with opposite charge, spin and other quantum numbers. Mesons are a type of particle made up of a quark and an antiquark. Quarks are the particles that make up the protons and neutrons found in atomic nuclei, and come in six ‘flavours’ – known as ‘up’, ‘down’, ‘strange’, ‘charm’, ‘bottom’ and ‘top’.

The D-mesons in the CERN experiment are made up of one charm quark and one charm antiquark. The physicists have witnessed the D-mesons oscillating between being a normal particle and an antiparticle, a process that has previously been observed in K-mesons (composed of a strange quark and an up or down antiquark) and B-mesons (a bottom antiquark and any of an up, down, strange or charm quark). When this happens, the constituent quark becomes an antiquark and vice-versa, so for example the antimatter partner to the K-meson is made up of a strange antiquark and a ‘normal’ up or down quark.

But in some cases this flip-flopping happens at different rates depending on whether a meson is transforming into an antimeson or the reverse is happening. Experiments in the 1960s showed that K-mesons are more likely to change from their antiparticles to their normal particles than the other way round, and some observations at Fermilab up to 2010 have suggested that the same is true of B-mesons.

This is an example of what is known as CP violation – an exception to the principle that physical laws should be the same for a particle as they are for an antiparticle with its direction reversed. This may help to explain why the universe appears to be made entirely of matter with no antimatter except that which is created in high-energy particle collisions.

One would expect the Big Bang to produce equal amounts of matter and antimatter, and, since the two annihilate one another on contact, this should have led to a universe with no particles, filled only with radiation.

This problem can be solved if there exists some process that favours matter over antimatter, leading to the excess that we see today.

Alternative explanations include the possibility that there are regions of the universe made of antimatter – which is thought to be unlikely since any overlap with matter regions would produce easily detectable radiation – and the suggestion that antimatter also exhibits gravitational repulsion, which would keep such regions separate.

light takes millions to billions of years to reach us so when we observe the stars they move slowly to us but in reality they are moving pretty fast out there in that vacuum. so when we go outside and look at those stars more than likely those stars are in a different location. well light is the fastest natural thing that cant break its own speed limit. so when you have a quasar move that light information we take in is going to be delayed because well its like in a vacuum its waiting for information to update. i think about it like video game lag in real life turn on a switch if the observer sees your hand moving to the switch or it might seem like its stationary and not doing anything when you are flipping the switch for the observer you still look frozen in place and move ever so slowly.

because there is so much of a gap between us and the quasar and even anything can slow down down light even gas.

You are saying we and the quasar were not 13 billion light years apart 13 billion years ago, rather we were closer and the light has been slowed down during its 13 billion year journey between us?

These are tough questions and I appreciate you trying to answer them. Genesis is a tough book to write. :-)

I think the earliest quasars are about 12 billion light years away (a billion years after the Big Bang).
