Clearly not, there are still a ton of creatards meandering around.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

If you were paying for the evangelical propaganda, you might have an issue, but since we all pay for the govt. issued stuff- there is a difference.

That's called science, scary!

Rythm, it is not working.
Haven't we had fifty years + of indoctrination and, you guys only compose less than 10 percent of the population?
It clearly doesn't look good for your case.

Unfortunately no, we haven't. While I'm generally against propganda there is a certain flexibility to my opinions. Judging by the dismal failure of science to bring dumbasses up to the 21st century a little bit of propaganda may have helped. It clearly works for the other guys. I suppose that sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty. On the other hand - does it matter how many dimwits we find in the world? Does the relative number of dimwits say anything as to the accuracy of their position?

In your country, my friend. Not in any other Western civilization.

Mind, they're only talking about "positive" atheism, not about agnostics or neo pagan.

Here irreligion by country.

Maybe for some values of not working. For the regular ones:

According to this 2013 survey, 14% of Americans now don't believe in God.

Obviously, you don't. You still believe in childish horseshit.

Dont worry folks, the talk of going door to door was said with the tongue firmly embedded in the cheek. Although I have taken to wearing atheist T shirts at my local Starbucks ( a lot of Bible study groups congregate there) That's about as far as it goes.

What does evidence based biology have to do with atheism?

You do know that there are plenty of Christians that accept evolution, right?

Evolution =/= atheism

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

This kinda reminds me (maybe a tangent), I've always wanted to just go to the bible belt in 'Murica, walk up to random people, tell them I'm an atheist and see how they react. Firstly to the accent, then to the revelation that I don't believe in god. I could just imagine their bodily functions shut down as their minimal brain power shifts all its focus to comprehending something as simple as 2+2.
