Wow!
Why is a book like that even allowed to be published? Don't give me free speech. please. This seems to be a guide to systematically abusing children from an early age on.
anything related to religion gets a free pass it seems... so even a religious parenting book as well. i agree these books including the bible should be taken into the street and set on fire.

There is a word called "hypocrisy", you should look it up. It means:
Quote:"the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform"
So, if a person claims to be a Christian but does not follow the teachings of Christ, he is NOT a Christian but a hypocrite.
And by the way, just because you "consider" yourself to be something, does not make it true. If I "consider" myself to be President of the United States, does that make me President of the United States?

"But they weren't Protestants!"
"But they weren't Catholics!"
But they were Christians, one and all. They each confessed the faith.
Now let me fetch some popcorn and watch you dig yourself into a hole occupied by a True Scotsman. This is has nothing to do with religion, but the evils of colonization. America is hardly the only one guilty of this, Britain, France, Spain, Holland and Russia are guilty of this. The extermination of indigenous people was carried out by GOVERNMENTS not churches.
The OP's video was saying that two people who disowned their daughter were exactly the same as the Taliban, and many of you agree, And YOU are trying to link atrocities perpetrated by "so-called" Christians to "real" Christians.
So using this logic, you're saying all Caucasians are guilty of the atrocities perpetrated against indigenous peoples, and atheists are worse than the Nazis ( since they had a much, much higher body count), you agree?

It doesn't matter.
Just because Huggy considers himself to be a true Christian, does not make it true.

To put it simply, a Christians life should reflect the life of Christ, to live in service for others.
Quote:John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Yeah, the christians in my link try to help poor children in Africa by adopting them and then beating them to death. Are they not true christians bullshit because they followed the bible's way of raising the kids?

Please explain in detail but be concise. I would like to hear how following the bible's instruction on raising a child is not what true christians do.

No... we don't get it.
You can't bring forth any tangible evidence of the god you proclaim to worship, but you have no problem castigating those who can't figure out why you so blindly do. How can you shake your head, when all we're asking for is a little confirmation that your god could possibly exist, when all logical signs are pointing to "no"?

Death is a privilege... the Taliban do not always grant this privilege.

It's allowed to be published for the same reason anything else is allowed to be published... not to say that everything is published, of course. Deny it for its content all you will: it has itself done no wrong.
Believe anything you want... whether it be what you've read, what you've heard, what you've seen and yourself concluded: it is your actions, not your beliefs, that come into the court of law.
There is nothing wrong with a guide to systematically abusing children, seemingly or otherwise.

You are. Perhaps only to you, however. What is your opinion of yourself worth? Does it modify your interaction with others... with yourself?
Should a single mother believe her five year old son is hellspawn itself: it really doesn't matter what he thinks. If anyone else is to think differently, what does it matter to him? Perhaps they help him... perhaps he is ignored; forgotten. What does it matter to her? Perhaps they catch her... perhaps her abuse escapes notice; his bones lay in the basement... may they rest in peace.

Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
