I'm sure people communicate during sex, but using sex to communicate would yield catastrophic effects. " Did you hear Jimmy said hello to Susan?" "Oh no! Jimmy has herpes for sure now!"
And as for love, it is much to complicated to just write down as a reply to a thread, much less just a few sentences.

Sex is sex and love is love. Implying that either has any intrinsic merit toward the other is short sighted at best.
