Which is precisely what I would do if I wanted to keep attention on a "secret base" while all the work was done elsewhere.

There was an episode of Blake's 7 which used that plot, in fact it was the whole direction for the second season. Basically, Blake wanted to launch an assault on the very heart of the Federation, crippling it. So he arranged with other resistance groups to attack a facility called Control, at the centre of an impassable defence grid. It turned out to be a trap; the Federation openly welcomed attacks on the facility and made little secret of its location, because all the work done there was relocated decades earlier to a place that even the Federation top echelon didn't know.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Something similar actually exists, though not as small as in Thunderball. Tell you what though, as an experienced deep diver, I would not ever carry one - my redundant tank has between 5 and 40 times the capacity - and is usually strapped to my dive buddy's back. I have no delusion that there's enough air in one of those tiny tanks to get safely to the surface from 40 meters depth.

Yes. They claim that anti-gravity devices are part of the B2 bomber. Of course, the Nazis took most of the tech with them to neuschwabenland, so...

There's another site (might look for it) I found several years ago that claimed the B2 has an actual cloaking device. Redundant with all the carbon fibre and RAM paint, I suppose, but the site was still pretty slick.

(disclaimer: I worked on the B2 bomb bay mechanism)

If you don't care about "them" going to the moon, you literally hate the cosmos..

And your rhetoric is simply banal!

That's precisely what they want you to think so they can carry out their secret research at Area 51 after all

They actually one-upped that. They did the secret work there and encouraged the idea that they were actually working on alien spacecraft. People were seeing what they expected to see rather than the Wobblin' Goblin.

Or just do what Lara Croft did in that Tomb Raider movie-- cut your hand, wait for a shark to swim up to you, punch it in the face, then grab its dorsal fin (because punching a shark in the face will make it swim to the surface). Presto! You're saved.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

(and if you were trying to put me down, you missed!)
PS if you're about to post a reply and your response is going to be negative, improper, average, odd, obtuse, irrational, an argument, might change the focus, going off at a tangent or just mean ... go and find a maths forum to post on instead, they'll love you !!
