Okay yes I am aware that truthfully old English is properly called Anglo-Saxon and is the language of both Beowulf and the Anglo-Saxon chronicles. When I said ye olde I was simply trying to invoke a image of Shakespearan writing. In fact people never really talked the way that Shakespeare wrote.

'tis better to have trolled and lost, than to never have posted at all. By the way, I recently saw a highly interesting documentary by some linguists and shakespearean actors, who demonstrated how the plays sounded in shakespeare's own pronunciation. Many things made more sense (e.g. would rhyme, when the standard pronunciation would not). But thou shalt hear not one more complaint!
