There are things the bible approves of that I don't, and things that it disapproves of that I do. Genocide is fine if you're killing people who worship other gods, but homosexuality is an abomination? Having an innocent person brutally murdered in order to forgive people and spare them from possible eternal torture of his making is more ideal than just proportional punishments of the crime and letting people choose where to go after that? Hardly a sacrifice, wasn't it? Suffer a few hours on the cross, stay dead three days, rise and become Emperor of the universe. But your imaginary friend just LOVES blood sacrifices, right? It's a circus trick: See the Great Jesus rise from the grave! If he's god, he's always god. Hence he cannot die and his resurrection is a given. The much bigger absurdity is the purpose of this horror show in the first place. If Jesus is god, he's virtually sacrificing himself to himself.
God can be alive and dead at the same time. What's one more contradiction?

His thirst for blood is so unquenchable that Human and animal sacrifices were not enough. He must spill his own.
What's with the only begotten part, anyway? What was keeping him from making more?
