My de-converted re-conversion
|
Yeah, my prophet sense is tingling too, Min.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

You people always want physical concrete earthly evidence don't you? You're never gonna get it. There's a reason why God is so elusive. Some people do not deserve to exist. You don't need my photograph of God's lights to see God's lights yourself. You could try meditation or studying metaphysics or perhaps you could just wait until you die. I know the main problem atheists have with God is evidence, but the evidence is as simple as being able to walk outside on a nice sunny day, or being able to talk to a loved one. Or watching a good movie, or eating good food. If you REALLY want physical evidence of God I could take pictures of the universe as it truly is and show you the evidence but you will simply claim that the image has been tampered with so what's the point?
If God does not exist to you then there is no God. God exists to me therefor I see God everywhere. The ultimate answer simply is. God isn't real. I can't provide you with evidence and I love the way the world works! God's unreality is the best reality ever. Life has probably taken something away and you will never want to admit the reality that the universe is meaning. I welcome the ban hammer it'll give me my VICTORY. Of course if you want me to stay and chat I will. I am not a prophet. Just a simple man trying to survive in this crazy place.
Oh great - a presuppositionalist.

This is a forum; I wouldn't want anybody to miss out on your perspective. If you want to share your perspective with clarity, I invite you to do it here, in the forum, where I'm sure the community will lend itself to your writings. A little advice though; maybe accompany the words you use with a little definition that you would like us to apply to them. Otherwise, we'll be forced to use the normal definitions we've all agreed on outside of your head. (December 7, 2014 at 7:28 pm)Stimbo Wrote: Oh great - a presuppositionalist. If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Thanks for verifying the point for me.
