I also know what you mean. Certainly some people do this kind of thing in a fully judgmental and unkind way, but I'm just saying that those who entirely dismiss the concern of strangers aren't being fair either. Do you ever watch that show, "What would you do?". Strangers can be full of actual concern more often than we realize. And it's a good thing, too! Empathy is what keeps society working.

Absolutely.
When I was 9 years old I was almost left on a tube train in London by myself. Someone forced the doors of the train open and I was able to get off, to my relief. Who was that someone? A complete stranger.

The underground is terrifying. D:

Once again showing a certain kindergarten mentality. I made a statement about a stranger based on what I read in this thread and this somehow turned into something about me. Grow up. Use actual arguments.
Is the mob back? A big fuck you to everyone involved.

I don't go out of my way to rag on fat people, but sometimes groups or people make claims that being fat is just as healthy or just as beautiful as not being fat and that needs to be responded to. Fat people spend a lot of time justifying being overweight and pretending like it's' not their fault they are overweight. I think that also needs a response just based on what is actually true, not out of prejudice against fat people.
This is true - I never said being fat is healthy, but then again - There are fat people who spend their lives justifying being overweight, and there's fat people who barely even talk about their weight and may even not enjoy talking about it. Just like there are smokers who enjoy blasting smoke on everyone else and smokers who want to be left alone.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

Right, that's why I would never go out of my way to taunt a fat person, if someone said "Oh I'm just heavy because of my metabolism" I'd feel comfortable to tell them there isn't really a large metabolic difference between most people. I think there is a difference between just being a dick, and being interested in what is true.

I'm sorry but what a ridiculous fucking outlook this is.
If I had a relative or friend who was severely overweight and continued to stuff their face to the point of obesity and health complications, I'd see it as my duty not only as a friend or relative, but a fellow human being, to at the very least say something.
In your world nobody would say anything to anyone else for fear of offending them.
You call it judging. I call it caring.
You can actually approach the matter with tact you know. Just because you can recognise someone is at an unideal weight does not automatically make you a judgemental sack of shit, like you seem to think.
I'm probably at my heaviest I've ever been. I've had a couple of my friends mention losing weight. I don't automatically take that as though they're judging me. I'd be a dick if I did that.
