Are you avoiding my question with accusation? Red herring much?

ANSWER MY QUESTION! Do you believe your actions do not directly contribute to modern day slavery?

As usual....."god" was clearly a fucking moron then, Drich.

Course, it could just be you. Do you have a permit for that mouth?

They please by all means show me one that does/Did not directly benfit from slavery.

Good thing for you, that you were not an OT Jew.

My great grandparents came over here dirt poor on the Irish potato boats. Nobody in my family has owned another human being or benefited from slavery.

So?

First of all, clean up that steaming turd you just left on the floor.

Second, what admirable regualtions god provided:

Quote: When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

Maybe when your ready to bring yourself to a topical conversation you will site some Christian examples.

There's no other way to proceed....that's all.

Again slavery is not the issue. It is how one treats a slave. you people are so brain washed by your own indoctrination you can not see the forrest because of all the trees.

I'm surprised to learn that Drich is this much of a cunt.

But at least he is demonstrating for all to see exactly how corrosive Christianity and blind faith in general are to morality.

I'm looking forward to his defense of stoning adulterers.

This thread has gone mad, but at least Drich answered the OP question.

I'm always stunned when someone completely abandons any semblance of morals in favour of a fucking book of fairy tale garbage. I suppose Drich would be absolutely fine with being kidnapped and put into slavery then, as long as his master only beat him unconscious and not to death.

Evil book. Evil.

Why would He do this if Eternity is based on this principle?

let me list off the things that are not okay

rape
pillage
murder
slavery
kill "witches"(pagans), Homosexuals, fortunetellers, nonbelievers, etc there is a whole list of things i know i wont bother.

and more

you see why people find Christianity offensive. <- because its done more to hurt people than help.

I see you chose not to answer my direct question. Why not?

You must have missed the good times when he was praying for people to get Aids and stuff. Didn't you, Drich?

So your not willing to answer my question either? what are you afraid of? Are you afraid to see how your selfrighteousness stacks up against the truth?

Sorry. Anyways, that was in the past and unnecessary to point out.

You're so wedded to your canned response that you didn't even realize I'd already let all of the wind out of this sail. Your position on this matter is representative of no god, it is your own. Grab your balls and own it..then we can talk like adults.

Quote:Again slavery is not the issue. It is how one treats a slave. you people are so brain washed by your own indoctrination you can not see the forrest because of all the trees.
I don't give a shit how you want me to treat the slaves I do not and will not ever have. The only way I would -not- treat the slave of another...is as a slave. Take that to the bank, midget.

Slavery is an issue, but not "the" issue. The issue is Christianity being completely outdated and irrelevant. Granted there are shitty economical situations around the world, I've personally witnessed a few. But the fact that it's in the bible, and Christianity's bitter defense of all of the things that don't apply to the modern world, is offensive. The Bible is fiction that is taken as fact.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!
