Bush III?
#41
RE: Bush III?
The scary thing about Bush is that, sleazy as he is, he is likely to be a massive improvement over whatever retard the republicunts do nominate.
AT least he does not want to machine gun Mexicans at the border....a fact which will cost him the votes of the crazies who do.

If I was a republican't (holy shit did I just type that?) I would vote for Rand Paul. With his stance on legalizing marijuana, he will get some of the younger vote that typically goes to the dems.

Yes. The GOP has lurched so far to the right wing since 2008 that W now looks like a moderate. In fact, if W were a Senator instead of a retired ex-president, he'd probably be the leader of what passes for moderates in the GOP.

Just don't forget that Rand voted to deliberately default on our debts in Oct 2013.

On purpose.

As a political stunt.

If he'd had his way, the consequential economic collapse would make 2008 look like a minor correction. Investors would flee America, our credit rating would be 3rd world, and we'd likely go bankrupt from the skyrocketing interest we'd be forced to pay on our debt. We can only speculate on the disaster scenarios that would follow but suffice to say, Al Qaida could only dream of doing the kind of damage to America that Republicans like Rand Paul came close to doing.

We were saved at the 11th hour from that fate when the GOP "blinked" and the moderates averted that disaster.

Let's hope it doesn't happen in the next two years or the 2016 election might be moot.

Mitch McConnell is the relatively sane Republican Senator from Kentucky. Scary times we live in.

I chuckled when I saw the thread titles "Bush III" and "This is becoming and epidemic" together.

Then I was sad.

I keep hearing that Obama has done a crappy job, but from across the pond it looks as though he has done a much better job than the previous incumbent.

Lets face it Bush Jr was the laughing stock of the world Obama isn't.

But he seems to be getting all the hate for no apparent reason.

Sorry, I don't know how I missed that earlier.

I'm wondering, Heywood, if you can accept a challenge that ATheist failed. It's a simple question: Can you elaborate on what terrible crimes Obama has committed to deserve the psychotic hatred that he receives in some corners of America?

You see, given the case I've made for racial bias (previous posts I know you're familiar with), you and he need to do a better job of providing a refutation than "nuh-uh-uh".

Woodie doesn't hate him because he's black.

He hates him because he's not white.

Bush 22% approval lowest in history, second place Truman @ 32%

Bytheway when Congress elected their Republican majority, thanks to Jerrymandering, voter suppression, and forcing blacks too take felony convinctions in lieu of of jail time, they "successfully" changed their 10% approval rating too a measly 11% after the election

maybe if you Republicans werent so busy bowing too the whim/ sucking the assholes of the rich you might get some higher approval ratings
I'm not a tea partier, just somebody who understands how statistics work.

That is the lowest rate for an outgoing president, as in during the specific time when they leave office. Not the lowest of all time, which can happen any time during their presidency. The article that you linked doesn't even support what you are claiming. Truman was the lowest and had the lowest average to boot.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about????
