Personally I feel the most sad when I hear about guys like me that kill themselves from loneliness and nobody even cares or just pass it off as mental illness. and yes i hate christians too because they have ZERO empathy for single guys, but so does 99% of the rest of the world it seems. love how everyone expects single guys to just sit quietly and smile. but when they get pushed too hard and out of frustration pull a school shooting, they are labled as the bad guys.

Strange little segue you've taken here. Are you saying that school shooters aren't bad guys, they're just frustrated?

Wait, are you seriously comparing homosexuality and murder? Aside from the fact that the latter is a crime while the former is just something you dislike because your book tells you to feel that way, the propensity to murder has no known genetic precursor.

Homosexuality does.

Correction I don't like murder and homosexuality because of a book.

RE: Teen suicide
Do you have a well thought out reason for why there's something wrong with homosexuality? Why it should be the business of anyone else between consenting adults?

The word "sin" is ridiculous, all it means is "stuff God doesn't like happening". I don't care what he does and doesn't like. And since he doesn't exist, neither does sin. It's the church leaders wanting you shackled up nice and tight, so that you feel you need them because you're so wretched. It's a horrific scam.

Sorry, someone comparing sexual acts between consenting adults to fucking murder isn't even worth debating.

Well, that was ambiguous.

I don't depend on my church leaders.

She did this because she was gay, and couldn't handle telling her parents. She felt such shame about not being what a Christian is "meant to be" that she took her own life.

Religion makes me sick to my core.
Odds are this girl and her parents were not close or she could have confided in her parents about anything. Chances are religion played no part in it.

Bullshit. Regardless of the relationship of the parents, Christianity says that homosexuality is evil. If religion had played no part and the relationship with her parents were bad, she would have just left her family. The religion conditioned her to believe her instinctual feelings were evil. It played the whole part.

From her point of view, there was no escaping God. She couldn't change who she was, and would only disappoint him and couldn't take it anymore. I'd say that has a lot to do with religion.
