Gods plan is flawed as is the concept of god itself!

"Reasonable faith" and "trust" are pretty much interchangeable. They're both based on some combination of knowledge and experience. Blind faith is based on nothing.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
The knowledge of god based on so called revelation is not a valid criteria for knowledge. Therefore faith based on such knowledge is just as invalid. In my view when it comes to god and faith there is no such thing as reasonable faith since to me reason and religious faith are incompatible. As I have stated many times in my opinion faith is simply an abandonment of reason.

I have a rational expectation, formed from my observations and careful thought of all factors relating to the act of flying commercially. I also have made an informed decision based upon previous data and knowledge of most factors involved, as well as comparing the relative risks. To call it 'faith' is a belittlement of anothers mind, carefully and usually unconsciously collating and tabulating data to make decisions, augmented best with reason.
Two words, Syn.
"Pilot Error."
I just hate it when they use that phrase.
One of the things I hate about discussing god and the existence of god etc. etc. is that I find some of the philosophical arguments boring and speculative at best. Mental gymnastics in my opinion is nothing but a waste of time, especially when you are arguing about something that is not fact based but rather based on subjective beliefs.

I'm the opposite - I find myself in awe of the ideas and possibilities.
