I started to order that book from Amazon more then once, I'm glad now I didn't.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Actually, the Apocrypha was not included in the final compilation of the bible because those books were thought to portray Jesus as more human and less divine.

There is another book I find far more interesting and that is the Book of Jubilees. It goes into more detail than Genesis does. It says that Cain married his sister Awan which would of course be incest.

Sure, there had to be a great deal of incest going on at the start. After the first round of kids, the available mates were going to be siblings or parents. The genetic problems this would cause in reality are another example of why this story is at best an allegory and at worst harmful fiction.

I am interested too in books being discarded. The bible is an utter mess already, that wouldn't convince anyone who wasn't also being coerced, so the idea that other books would make it even less coherent or convincing is hilarious.

If that's the bibles case of incest well we wouldn't exactly be looking human.... but genetically were all related so hey cousin(s) how are you all doing today? Big Grin
