"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Religious indoctrination upon children. If it was illegal to do this to minors then religion would be nearly gone within a few generations.

Any random mainstream monotheistic religion.
No way, those are all obviously made up.

I'm pretty much a closet atheist. My family would rather laugh and have good conversation about anything other than religion, politics, and Elvis. So ignoring my atheism is pretty easy. It just doesn't come up. I could probably convert to some religion and go through the motions for the right person, if she was like my version of a solid 10. I'm only human! Of course, I would probably find myself in more situations where I would have to carry on religious conversation. I'd break down at some point and ruin the relationship. But, the question is "what will it take to convert me", so that's really the only thing I could come up with, some practical technicality to appease the in-laws, perhaps.
As far as believing any of the horse shit- nope, can't happen.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

What would make me believe? A good start would be god eliminating disease, illness, and disability in the blink of an eye. I still wouldn't immediately say, "Yup, that's god alright," but it'd certainly get my attention. We can move on from there.

For myself I'd say god has his/her work cut out. It would probably require altering my ability to exercise free will. Most religions have too many hypocritical practices and texts for me to buy into the bs.
There is a further question if you're a theist. We'll give your intelligence the benifet of the doubt and ask why you still believe with all the evidence against the bible/torah/whatever?
With all the "proof" and "case" threads going on that are either trolls or actually trying convert a few of us, I'm curious.
I'm perfectly willing to compromise my views for cold hard cash.
I'd convert to Christianity for about £6 Million.

"The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions" - Leonardo da Vinci
"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

Yeah, but when you're old enough you know better. It's the childhood brainwash that plants the seed. Eliminate that and the nightmare is over.

Pick a better religion and I will fold for 6mil. There is nothing that could make me fold for the Jesus character. Dull forgery.
