What will it take to convert you?
RE: What will it take to convert you?
In working in a care home ATM, mainly for dementia sufferers, and there's one woman who sits there reading the bible and eating pudding all day. Just saying, I mean one mans anacdotal evidence is as good as the next I suppose.

Do you expect her to deconvert at death's door? Of course there are such people.

For myself I'd say god has his/her work cut out. It would probably require altering my ability to exercise free will. Most religions have too many hypocritical practices and texts for me to buy into the bs.

There is a further question if you're a theist. We'll give your intelligence the benifet of the doubt and ask why you still believe with all the evidence against the bible/torah/whatever?

With all the "proof" and "case" threads going on that are either trolls or actually trying convert a few of us, I'm curious.

I was one of those Christians for many years that turn good people away from God, I did not know Him. Then suddenly He came to me and showed me love and passion. Now I believe because I feel Him. I am so in love with Him that I have began blogging about Him. Visit my blog <snip>
Love you guys!

Your brain is playing tricks on you I'd say. But hey, whatever you need to be happy... yet, I hope you understand that I don't find your personal revelation a very convincing argument for God.

I don't find your blog very convincing tom.

And I harbor no ill will towards you. But I sure as hell don't call it love.

Edit: Not that convinced of hell. We'll say sure as gravity*

Why would I expect here to deconvert? Your post doesn't make sense to me.

RE: What will it take to convert you?
Here's the contradiction i'm confused about.
How come atheists would say if God were real and appeared to them or if they died and were brought into the presense of God.
They would curse and spite in his face. yet they won't do that if they were brought into the presense of ISIS?

Hmm, contradiction much? Just the fear in itself, all the captives that spoke out tell you about the daily indescribable fear they hard.
And they all converted to muslim when they were passing out torah, they would all grab it to "fake" read. In order to avoid harsh treatment.
THe only one who didn't got the worst treatment of them all with constant water boarding.

I remember one of the released french captive saying, if someone came out passed out with bruises and blood they were relieved.
But if they had no bruise or blood then their hearts would literally drop, because they knew he's been water-boarded.

But think about it, these are men who fear other men with little to no authority to them.
I have heard soldiers during the iraq war, when they are surrounded, would save a-couple bullets to use on themselves.
To avoid being captured by the insurgents, because they know the horror that would befall them.
And what the insurgents would do to them.

Yet we have people saying if God existed, they would mock him.

This is what i call internet warriors and false bravery in RL.
The internet warrior says after every tragedy, if there were a gunman they would rush him immediately.
Yet in reality they would freeze with fear in the moment.

We fear men with knifes, staves and guns who can water-board us in their presence.
Yet we speak lightly on the existence of a creator peradventure he was true, who could do anything to you.
That's why i take these posts with a grain of salt because Its called pride.

By the way HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

The difference between god and ISIS is that ISIS exists.
Edit: And they're more than happy to prove it.

What will it take?

I want to know everything satan knew at the time of his fall from heaven.

He must have some serious dirt on yahweh and smart enough to get a third of the population of god world as an life insurance policy..
