The cambrian explosion

RE: The cambrian explosion
I notice he hasn't replied. What a fucking shock. Probably furtively, desperately scanning answersingenesis to square the circle with his beliefs. *rolls eyes*

I've had the snip, so no matter how many Cambrian explosions I have, no life will be produced.

Not that one you didn't. That was a sketch specially written by Roy Skelton (the voice of Zippy and George; he also did the best Dalek voices) for the Thames Television staff xmas tape. It was never intended for public viewing. I saw it originally on a leaked vhs of the whole tape, along with a few BBC ones. Trust me, that video is mild compared to some.

Hi, yeah, I read that, it was a spoof never meant to be aired but was aired by mistake.

Not a single complaint apparently.

I miss that guy Michael, he had some interesting things to say. He had a much more realistic view of the bible, for a start.

Yeah Michael was a cool dude.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

Color me jaded - I guess I've heard all the woo before. Old woo in new bottles is still old woo.

Or perhaps, ancient nonsense is still nonsense.

But that's just me.

Sure, he did still talk a lot of nonsense. But he was a bit closer to reality than most, very polite and reasonable. He never once threatened me with anything either.

Yes, I agree with you there. It always amazes me how someone can be educated, intelligent and exhibit critical thinking skills, except when it comes to their own pet woo.
