But cooking your food should be enough to get rid of it, no?
Boil it covered for two hours, then carefully save the liquid collected on the inside of the pot lid and discard the rest. Repeat until all traces of DNA are gone.

That's simply a copy of the survey questions and results in PDF form, printed online. I don't see anywhere that the survey itself was originally conducted online.
But I also don't see how the survey actually was conducted - one would presume via random phone calls, or possibly man-on-the-street interviews. I couldn't find anything about the data-collection method.

And yes, you're right, it's an online survey. Might as well conduct a survey by throwing darts at a board.

Isn't it true that all of the DNA in heavily processed foods is destroyed? Ironically, that would make DNA-containing foods the (presumably) healthier option.

Yeah, the above is hyperbole, but the level of basic scientific literacy in this country is appalling.
